Plans For New Pedestrian Bridge Over River Clyde

Plans for the construction of a new pedestrian bridge which will span the River Clyde and link Dalmarnock & Shawfield have been unveiled by Clyde Gateway.  This will provide quick and easy access to and from the new transport hub which is to be developed around Dalmarnock Train Station.  These works will be carried out over a 3 year period and will half the time from Dalmarnock Station to the New National Business District in Shawfield to less than 10 minutes.  Works on the bridge are due to start late in 2012 and should be completed in time with the Dalmarnock Train Station Works.
